CLASSIC LAOS: VIENTIANE LUANG PRABANG - 4 days 3 nights
MEAL BASIC : BREAKFAST

Day 1    Arrival - Vientiane         

Meet and transfer to hotel. City tour. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2    Vientiane - Luang Prabang. B     

Transfer to airport for flight toLPQ. Mount Phousi, visit night Market. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 3    Luang Prabang - Pak Ou caves. B           

Visit Wat Sene and Wat Xiengthong. Cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is produced. On return, take a short drive to another small village Ban Phanom, which famous for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang       

Day 4    Luang Prabang - Departure. B    

Visit the National Museum (closed Tuesdays) at the former Royal Palace, Central Market. Free time till transfer to the airport for departure            

Full itinerary:

Day 1    Vientiane arrival        

After arrival at Vientiane airport, you will be met and transferred to hotel by our guide and driver. After a short rest, you will visit Watt Sisaket-the temple with thousands of miniature Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Watt Prakeo, which previously housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Visit Lao's national icon-the famous and sacred structure of That Luang Stupa, photo stop at Patuxay Monument, which is well known as Vientiane's own Arc de Triumph. Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 2    Vientiane-Luang Prabang (B)     

After breakfast, you will leave Vientiane for Luang Prabang by flight. Arrive at Lang Probing airport, transferred to hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the impressive sputa of Watt Visoun and the shrine of Watt Aham and Watt Mai. Climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. Visit night Market with selection of handmade textiles made by the hill tribe and local people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang

Day 3    Luang Prabang-Pak Ou caves (B)           

After breakfast, you will visit Watt Sene and Watt Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represents classical Laotian architecture. Cruise upstream on the Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by devoted pilgrims. Along the way, stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where the local rice wine is produced. On return, take a short drive to another small village of Ban Phanom, which is famous for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang.       

Day 4    Luang Prabang-Departure (B)    

After breakfast, you will visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesday) at the former Royal Palace, then Central Market. You will have a free time until transferred to the airport for your onward flight. The end of the tour.
